Tellychakkar.com talks to Jhalak participants Ekta Kaul and choreographer Tushar Kalia

The beautiful and gorgeous Ekta Kaul, who is currently seen in Zee TV’s Rab Se Sohna Isshq, is all set to participate in her first dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 6 (BBC Productions). This lovely lady has been paired opposite choreographer Tushar Kalia who will also be seen for the first time in the series. To our curiosity, we got in touch with Ekta and her choreographer Tushar. Excerpts: Firstly Ekta, what made you choose Jhalak…? “Well, I took it up because it would be a new experience for me. Since I am not a trained dancer, I want to learn dancing and explore myself. I, for one, am not thinking of winning or losing the competition, but just want to enjoy the journey,” shares Ekta. Tushar, you are a new entrant in the show. How do you feel to be part of the project? “It’s my privilege to be on this platform and I am really excited and looking forward to rock the stage,” the choreographer quips. Ekta, what you have to say about your choreographer? “Tushar is a very patient and humble guy and is very helpful. He guides me properly. So, with our hard work, we will try to bring in a different stuff to impress our audiences.” Of all the three judges, which is the one who makes your heart go dhak dhak? “Well, we have to try hard to impress all the three judges to extend our journey in the show,” says Tushar. “I am scared of Remo as he is very strict and you can’t hide your weakness from him. He can point your mistakes very easily,” adds Ekta. Any dance form which is very difficult for you to learn, Ekta? “Nothing is easy; all the dance forms are difficult for me as I said that I am not a trained dancer.” How would you balance between Jhalak… and Rab Se Sohna Isshq, Ekta? “It is a big task for me as I have to give at least 13 hours to my daily soap and then spend around three hours practicing for Jhalak.” We wish good luck to both of you!!!
