MUMBAI: TellyChakkar.com has been on the forefront in reporting updates about Zee TV’s show Apna Time Bhi Aayega (Shoonya Square Productions). We exclusively reported about actress Anushka Sen bagging the project while we also reported Fahmaan Khan’s reaction on bagging the project as the main lead.

This destiny drama debunks the deep-rooted class system and questions its unwritten rulebook of ‘aukaat’ in our society, almost curtailing the chances of the lower strata in taking charge of their destiny and rising above their means. Aptly titled ‘Apna Time Bhi Aayega’, the show follows Rani and her bond with her father who despite being from a modest background has raised his daughter like a queen. Unlike most father-daughter relationships typically seen across Hindi GECs where the daughters’ dreams are often reined in by a father who provides a reality check and persuades her to opt for the tried and tested, traditional approach of life, here is a father who has consciously raised Rani to believe that the sky is the limit for her.

We have been on the forefront in writing the actors cast for the project and now, joining the cast is actress Komal Sharma, who has been a part of some extremely popular shows in the likes of Diya Aur Baati Hum, Udaan, Jeet Gayi Toh Piya More among others.

She will play the role of Kumud. Kumud will be a positive character who is sympathetic and is the only connection between the rajmahal’s royal family and the servants. Her role would be that of a personal assistant to Tanaaz Irani’s character and will try to handle things in a positive way.
