Vaishali Takkar quits Zee TV's Yeh Vaada Raha

Before calling it a day, here's an exclusive update from the sets of Zee TV's Yeh Vaada Raha (Trishula Productions). Actress Vaishali Takkar who plays the role of Simran, sister of Survi has now quit the show. As per credible sources, "Vaishali who plays the parallel lead is not happy with the way her track has been progressing, as it is not what was briefed initially. After a talk with the producers, a mutual decision has been arrived at. And Vaishali is presently serving her notice period of a month." When contacted, Vaishali confirmed the news saying, "Yes it is true that I have decided to quit the show. I am creatively unsatisfied and have consulted the producers and requested them to relieve me. I will be wrapping up my shoot in January end (2016). I am now on the lookout for only lead roles." We hear that the makers might decide to get rid of the character rather than looking for a replacement. For the uninitiated, Vaishali had earlier moved out of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hain for creative reasons again. Watch this space for more updates...
