Vivek Mushran roped in for Sukesh Motwani's show on Star Plus

Tellychakkar.com was the first to report about Sukesh Motwani’s Bodhi Tree Productions coming up with a youth-based concept for Star Plus which will go on to replace the ongoing Mahabharat. As per our report, Aneri Vajani and Heli Daruwala have been roped in to play the female leads, with the male lead being a newbie. We now hear that seasoned actor Vivek Mushran, popularly known as Frooti’s father in SonPari, will play an important role in the serial. A source states, “Vivek Mushran has been roped in to this fiction show of Star Plus, to play the female lead’s father.” Vivek Mushran, who began his acting career as a lead in the movie Saudaagar, has gone on to work in TV shows such as Kittie Party, Bhaskar Bharti, Baat Humari Pakki Hai and his recent work being Sony Entertainment Television’s Parvarrish – Kuchh Khattee Kuchh Meethi wherein he was paired opposite Shweta Tiwari. When contacted, Vivek Mushran told Tellychakkar.com, “Yes, I am doing a show for Star, is what I can say. I will not be able to talk anything; it is for the channel to do all the talking.” We dropped a text message to Producer Sukesh Motwani, but did not get any revert till the time of filing the story. This interesting concept will come as a whiff of fresh air amidst the saas-bahu sagas presently running on Star Plus. The channel and the maker have been tight-lipped about the venture, as of now. As reported, the show has already gone on floor with the first outdoor schedule being shot in Jaipur. Watch this space for more updates.
