MUMBAI: Arjun Kapoor and his half-sister Janhvi Kapoor made an appearance on the sixth season of Koffee With Karan. Karan Johar’s celebrity chat show commenced on a rather emotional note as the filmmaker addressed the difficult period that the Kapoor siblings endured after Sridevi’s death.
Arjun and Anshula are Boney Kapoor’s kids from his first wife Mona Shourie, and Janhvi and Khushi are the filmmaker's daughter from the legendary actress Sridevi.
When the actress died, it came as shock to many in the industry. While speaking to Karan, Arjun said that his behaviour towards Janhvi and Khushi after their mother’s death emerged out of pure honesty.
Arjun said that at the end of the day, a moment changes everything, and that he has been through that moment and wouldn’t wish it for any his worst enemy. He further stated that whatever he and Anshula did was an impulse out of pure honesty.
‘It stemmed purely out of being a good son to my father because that’s the first impulse,’ Arjun told Karan.
