Bollywood’s campus rom-com Ishq Vishk is one of the finest films that a Bollywood lover could watch.

Whenever we talk about the flick, the first thing that comes in our mind is the dosti between chocolaty boy Rajiv (Shahid Kapoor), sweet and simple Payal (Amrita Rao) and the wicked Mambo (Vishal Malhotra).

We all know that Vishal played a protective friend of Amrita in the film. In real life too, the two share a great bond.

And after a long time, yesterday, the good pals met and cherished old memories.

Shared Vishal, “Due to our busy schedules we don’t get time to meet that often. But yesterday was a lucky day and we had a small get-together at my place and Amrita dropped in. Shahid and Amrita are my very good friends and I am constantly in touch with them. Till date, whenever we meet we share our Ishq Vishk nostalgia as this movie is close to all our hearts.”

He continued, “I am glad that TV shows like Hip Hip Hurray, Disney Club and film like Ishq Vishk came my way. I have been a part of shows which have hit the right chords. I think people will never edge me out of their childhood memories (smiles).”

So what about a Ishq Vishk sequel? “Ishq Vishk was all about freshness. I believe original is an original and a sequel may lose its charm.”
