MUMBAI: Kanchi Singh is a known actress of television and she has a good fan following.

She is best known for her role in the show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai where she essayed the role of Gayatri Deora.

Post exiting the show the actress was on a break and she was seeking good projects on television, movie and OTT platforms.

TellyChakkar got in touch with the actress and asked her what are her upcoming projects where she revealed how she declined an OTT show as she wasn't comfortable doing an intimate scene.

What are your upcoming projects?

My movie 3rd October is releasing soon and I am really excited and can't wait for the release.

Do your parents still accompany you on the sets of the show?

Yes, my mother and father, one of them come along with me for my shoots and they make sure one of them is always with me and they have supported me always and it's because of them I am where I am today.

What if you get a Web - Show offer and you had to do intimate scenes then what would you do if your parents are around?

I had got the offer of a web - series which had intimate scenes so my mother told me that she would come along with me and she told me not to worry and I was nervous and I told that I wouldn't be able to do it but then I turned out the offer because it was not my cup of tea, but in future if I am offered the show then am sure my mom will be there with me and I declined it as I am not ready for doing a bold content.

What kind of project are you looking to do work on Tv?

Anything that is good, Tv is a place where there are a lot of restrictions where you don't have to think so much as the work is the same whereas on OTT the content is bold, a little challenging. Tv is something where everything is the same and very mandatory and I don't think for TV roles one needs to think so much but for OTT one will have to think and I had turned an offer as I wasn't comfortable doing the intimate scene.

Well, these days Kanchi is busy shooting for a movie and web show and the fans do miss watching her on the small screen.
