MUMBAI: Rajan Shahi is among the most well-known producers in the TV industry. Week after week, Rajan Shahi's shows from Anupamaa to Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai have dominated the TRP numbers. However, in addition to his shows, the well-known producer is renowned for being a "no-nonsense" person.

Recently when the DKP team announced the termination of actors Shehzada Dhami and Pratiksha Honmukhe many were left shocked. Rajan Shahi has now opened up about how Shehzada and Pratiksha’s behavior on the sets of the show affected the lead actress Samridhii Shukla.
Shahi revealed that both the actors behave arrogantly on set. Shehzada went to the extent to say that Shehzada insisted that everyone call him sir on set and give 15 retakes. This also affected the rest of the cast members. The final straw was when Shehzada demanded that either the assistant director stays or he stays. Rajan asked him to leave after that.
Speaking of Pratiksha, Shahi mentioned that he was not happy with her performance and during a serious scene, she was seen smiling. She believed that by being with Shehzada her career would sky rocket.
Rajan Shahi said that while other cast members were affected by Shehzada and Pratiksha’s groupism, Samridhii was the worst affected as she had maximum scenes with the duo and her morale went down and started feeling low on sets.
Recently Rohit Purohit and Garvita Sadhwani replaced Shehzada and Pratiksha and it changed the whole atmosphere on set and even made Samridhii very happy.
