Veteran actor Yusuf Hussain who is known for his roles in Bollywood flick Dhoom 2 and Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi has been roped in for Zee TV’s Neeli Chatri Waale.
This Garima Productions’ show has off lately seen a replacement of of the lead character of Bhagwan Das. Rajesh Kumar walked into the shoes of veteran actor Yashpal Sharma after he quit.
Now coming to the new twist, as per our sources, Yusuf will play the NRI uncle of Bhagwan Das. It will be a cameo appearance and will bring lot of fun in the show.
We spoke to Yusuf who shared, "It is a very meaningful and yet funny character. I will be playing a patriotic man, who will highlight the deficiency of our country. Looking forward to a great time with the team.”
Neeli Chatri Waale will also soon see Nivedita Tiwari making an entry as Parvati opposite Shivaye (Himanshu Soni).
