Zee TV's Sarojini to end

Zee TV's Sarojini (Rashmi Sharma Productions) started off as the struggle of a well-educated girl in a rather regressive household post her marriage. The show's lead pair Mohit Sehgal and Shiny Doshi won all hearts till their pairing lasted. Recently, the show saw a major turnaround with the death of Mohit's character, and then came in another popular face, Aamir Ali as the new lead. Well, all the major drama and shock element could not resurrect the show's poor ratings. And the latest is that Sarojini will be shutting shop on 30 April. As per reliable sources, "Even the introduction of a new hero and a fresh story could not help the show. The actors have been informed of the decision, and the creative team is working out a logical ending." When contacted, Shiny confirmed the news saying, "Yes, the show wraps up on 30 April. We should be finishing shoot in another 4-5 days." We buzzed Producer Rashmi Sharma and the channel spokesman but did not get any revert. Recently the show also had a change in its time slot wherein it was moved to the 6 PM slot. Let's bid adieu to the cast and crew.
