Things we want to see on TV in 2016

The last year (2015) has been very successful in television with supernatural dramas doing pretty well. But with too many shows of similar genre, we would love to see something new. We list out five trends that we would like to see in 2016...take a look:

Finite series:

Gone are the days of never ending stories. Audiences are perhaps bored with the looooooong-stretched dramas on small screen. It’s high time the makers stuck to the restricted time slot for series. So we want finite series more this year.

Consummation drama:

No doubt that we respect our tradition and culture, but that does not mean that the small screen couples won’t even consummate their relationship. Instead of creating too much hype around consummation, the makers can treat the theme as a natural process.

Shows on literary works:

There is no denial of the fact that many shows on the small screen have been adapted from literary works, but somehow, most of them have lost their plot mid-way. We are pretty sure that audiences would love to watch a venture that holds the spirit of the series.

Biographical projects:

Don’t you think it would be really nice to know about the life of the legends through a short television series? Since this is an untapped genera, we guess this idea will be welcomed by all.

Sequel of cult classics:

Making a sequel of cult classic films is not a new trend on the big screen. But think about having a second season of Hip Hip Hurray, Dekh Bhai Dekh or Sarabhai VS Sarabhai. Doesn’t it sound awesome?
