MUMBAI: Director Matt Reeves has unleashed ‘The Batman’ in his all-new teaser that dropped online at the DC FanDome.
Starring Robert Pattinson as the caped vigilante, the film is reportedly inspired by classic noirs like ‘Chinatown’ and ‘Taxi Driver’, and will meet a "very human and very flawed" Bruce Wayne in his second year as Batman. Deviating from the usual comic book hero stories we have seen adapted on the big screen thus far, this one will reportedly see a much younger Batman play Gotham City’s vigilante detective trying to solve a series of crimes.
Among the many sneak peeks the trailer gives us of the supporting cast including Zoë Kravitz’s Catwoman, it also sees a young Burce Wayne zooming around on a motorbike in makes-shift gear before he can assume his part as the Batman.

Repeated taunts in the form of notes left at various crime scenes finally lures the vigilante hero out of the shadows to take on the bad guys and declare with a growl, "I'm vengeance."
This first-ever footage from the much-hyped movie sure left fans wanting more.
‘The Batman’ is set to open in theatres October 1, 2021.
