Rishi Kapoor

Rishi Kapoor was born on the 4th of September, 1952. He is married to neetu Singh and they have two children Ranbir Kapoor who is an indian actor and Ridhima Kapoor, a fashion designer. He was born to he family if actors who have almost taken over the bollywood industry by spreading their leaves of their family tree into acting. He is the son of Raj kapoor who was a legendary actor as well as film director. He is nicknamed as 'Chintu'. He has two brothers: Randhir Kapoor and Rajiv Kapoor. Rishi Kapoor is called a chocolate boy because of his role in Mera Naam Joker which was his debut film. He became a star after his film 'Bobby' was released. He played the role of a writer and a obedient son who followed his fathers steps untill he fell in love with the character Bobby. He then did not listen to his father he went against his father's will to marry her. He was then nomore his son and was willing to do anything for the love of his life. The character of Bobby was played by 'Dimple Kapadia' in the year 1973. He studies at Campion school along with his brothers. He has worked for almost 100 films which are hard to pen down. In the year 1999 he directed the movie Ab Ab Laut Chaleen. He was a playback singer for four songs: Pyar mein twist, hawalat, Naseeb and Jhoota Kahin Ka. He has won more movies than he is nominated. Some of his very recent awards are Zee Cine award for the best lifetime Jodi in the year 2011. He also won best actor film fare award for the movie Do Dooni Char in the year 2011. He has also received best child artist for the movie mera naam joker in the year 1971 and also Filmfare lifetime achievement award in the year 1998. He certainly is a very talented man who can be compared to a very few great people in terms of acting and endless contribution of hardwork and dedication towards acting.
