MUMBAI: For Life is a fight against the injustice done to a black man. A story based on real life incidents of Isaac Wright Jr. who legally fought for his freedom and of those 20 people who were wrongly accused of crimes they didn’t commit.
The show was not able to deliver numbers when it came to live audiences but did well on DVR.
For life’s Executive producer, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson gave a shout out to his Indian fans as the show neared its digital release on SonyLIV.
Are you ready? We are bringing another powerful show from producer extraordinaire, 50 Cent to you.

Apparently, the show has been renewed for a second season by ABC, 50 Cent released a statement for the same.
““For Life just got renewed for season two by ABC! It’s more than just a show, it’s a fight for justice and we’re keeping the fight going. Isaac Wright Jr stood up to the system and won his freedom and now more than ever, we need to keep telling the story inspired by his life. Creator Hank Steinberg and his team of writers are ready to continue exploring and exposing the flaws in the system which is so important now more than ever. I told you it would happen.”
