Adnaan Shaikh controversy: Iffat Shaikh, sister of the social media influencer says, ‘Adnaan’s accusations of dowry are an attempt of deviating from the topic of PHYSICALLY ASSAULTING me’ - EXCLUSIVE

MUMBAI : Adnaan Shaikh is a well-known Indian model, actress, social media influencer, and content creator who rose to prominence mostly on Instagram and TikTok.

Adnaan has also competed in reality TV, placing second in Season 2 of MTV's Ace of Space. He recently made news when he entered Bigg Boss OTT 3 as a 2024 wild card contender.

At the moment, Adnaan Shaikh is embroiled in a major family dispute. Iffat Shaikh, his sister, has lodged a police report (FIR) accusing him of physical abuse. Iffat shares video proof of her father-in-law's injuries, alleging that Adnaan not only attacked her but also her father-in-law.

She has been outspoken on social media, vowing to pursue justice and make sure Adnaan is held accountable.

In response to these claims, Adnaan has referred to the FIR and the accusations as false, implying that some people are taking advantage of his recent high-profile wedding for their own fame. Additionally, he asserted that these charges are an effort by some public relations professionals to damage his reputation in the wake of the media coverage his wedding garnered.

Well, TellyChakkar got in touch with Iffat to know her version of the story.

She said, “First of all, Adnaan has stated that my in-laws demanded dowry. If they had demanded it, I would not be staying with my in-laws and would have rather gone to my maternal home. I would have told them that until you fulfil their demand of a two BHK house, they are not going to take me back.”

Iffat’s husband added, “This is all to deviate from the topic. The issue is about Adnaan raising his hand on Iffat and my father for which we requested Mumbai police to help. In between all of that I do not understand how this dowry and all comes in. If that was the case his sister would not be living with me. It is utter rubbish.”

Clarifying the second allegation which Adnaan has accused them of, Iffat expressed, “The second allegation is that my in-laws put out a condition that he should get married to my sister-in-law and demanded a two BHK flat too holds no truth.”
