MUMBAI: With the release of the third season for Mirzapur inches closer, the anticipation and excitement of the fans is increasing by the minute. While everyone is eager to witness who wins the throne this season, another question harrowing the fans from the past four years is “Sharad Shukla ne Kaleen Bhaiyya ko kyu bachaya?” Offering a hint to the same, Anjumm Shharma who plays Sharad in the show, recently revealed brief details during a pap interaction.

From fan theories to casual conversations amongst friends, the possibilities of twists in the third season of Mirzapur are widely discussed across quarters. One of the most repeatedly discussed question after the second season has been the mystery why Sharad Shukla saved Kaleen Bhaiyya.

During the promotions of the show recently, Anjumm Shharma was playfully asked the same question by the Paps to which the actor responded, “Because Kaleen Bhaiyya offers and gives Sharad a lot this season”.

After the trailer, it is evident that Sharad Shukla is working closely around Kaleen Bhaiyya, however, the audience is now left wondering, what is Akhandanand Tripathi played by Pankaj Tripathi offering Sharad in return.

Although Guddu Pandit ascends the throne towards the end of season two, we see the race for the throne running in the trailer for season three. The true successor of the throne can only be decided by Original king of Mirzapur Kaleen Bhaiyya. As Pankaj Tripathi also earlier claimed “Decision agar Mirzapur ka hai toh antim nirnay humara hai” and the climax of the trailer also suggests him taking the shots again in Mirzapur.

One of the most popular fan theories as well as the comments on the various social media posts have been strongly suggesting that Sharad Shukla gets the gaddi this season, however, the audience will have to wait till 5th July for the reveal as the much loved crime-drama starts streaming on Amazon Prime Video next week.
