MUMBAI: ZEE5, India’s largest home-grown video streaming platform and a powerhouse of multilingual storytelling, is all set to take viewers on a dark and twisted journey with its latest Bengali original, Bibhishon. Something sinister is stirring in the quiet lanes of Birbhum, where an eerie theft, a missing person, and a chilling murder rattle the foundations of a sleepy police station. The show is headlined by Soham Majumdar who plays a cop, Bidhan Sen, supported by Debchandrima Singha Roy in other prominent roles. Directed by Raja Chanda and produced by Raja Chanda Films, Bibhishon promises to be an intriguing story of secrets, lies, and betrayal that will keep you hooked till the very end. Bibhishon premieres on 27th June, only on ZEE5.
Set against the backdrop of the seemingly peaceful town of Birbhum, Bibhishon follows Sub-Inspector Bidhan Sen (Soham Majumdar), a calm yet razor-sharp officer whose personal life is hanging by a thread, and the professional world is about to spiral into chaos. When a strange thief, a headless corpse, and a brutal murder land on his desk in quick succession, Bidhan and his team are drawn into a dark maze of clues that refuse to line up. With each revelation more unsettling than the last, Bibhishon keeps you wondering: is the real danger outside… or much closer than anyone imagined?
