Bekaaboo 3 fame Nikkita Ghag sacrifices sleep for 48 hours straight during intense shoot; says, "There were occasions where I went without sleep for 48 hours straight, yet I still had to honor my commitments on set"

MUMBAI: Renowned for her captivating performances, Nikkita Ghag has charmed audiences with her versatile acting. From her commendable role as Alisha Seth in "Bekaaboo 3" to appearances in series like "Fuh Se Fantasy," she has made her mark in the entertainment industry. Not limited to acting, Nikkita has also ventured into production with projects like "Anandi" on Disney Plus Hotstar and "Pyar Ka Bazaar" on Altt. Now, as she gears up for Altt's "Nashila Husn," Nikkita shares insights into how she manages multiple projects simultaneously, the challenges she faces during shoots, and how she maintains her fitness despite battling PCOD.

Talking about challenges faced while working on multiple projects at the same time, Nikkita shares, "Juggling multiple projects concurrently has posed significant challenges, particularly in terms of sleep deprivation and exhaustion. There were occasions where I went without sleep for 48 hours straight, yet I still had to honor my commitments on set, adhering to the terms of my contracts. In this industry, the priority often lies in completing the work at hand, regardless of personal well-being. While it's tough, I recognize that it's ultimately my decision to take on these commitments, driven by my passion for the craft. I understand that every choice has its pros and cons, and I'm prepared to accept them all."

When asked if there are any specific routines or rituals she follows to stay physically and mentally resilient during intense periods of work, she says, "I prioritize my workouts to manage my PCOD and maintain my physique for work. I exercise three times a day, starting with cardio, followed by squash, and finishing with weight training at night. This routine helps combat the weight gain associated with PCOD. Even during shoots, I make sure to exercise, either at the gym or with equipment at home, for at least half an hour to 45 minutes. Additionally, I prioritize mental well-being through meditation, recognizing its importance in navigating the chaos of this industry."

When asked how she prioritizes tasks and projects to ensure she's making the most of her time and energy while working on multiple fronts, she says, "I approach multiple projects by focusing on one at a time, dedicating all my attention to each project when it's its turn. For instance, if I have a 12-hour shoot for project A followed by a 10 to 12-hour shoot for project B, I allocate my entire 24 hours accordingly. While on project A, it receives my complete priority, and the same goes for project B when it's time. I've learned to delegate tasks effectively, especially when unexpected situations arise, such as NGO emergencies. Having a capable team allows me to distribute responsibilities and ensure everything runs smoothly. Over time, I've honed my time management skills through workshops and practical experience, enabling me to handle multiple projects simultaneously with ease."
