Big Scoop! Beloved talk show Koffee With Karan to get a season 8, Check out host Karan Johar’s response

MUMBAI: Koffee With Karan season 7 is still on-air and talks about the next season have made rounds already. The 7th season of the most notorious chat show in town is airing on Disney+ Hotstar and a new episode is updated every week on the OTT platform.

This season too has been promising and created tremendous buzz around its episodes and what the celebrities had to say about their personal lives. The show host Karan Johar seems to have a way to make these B-town celebs spill secrets and get candid on the infamous couch.

Now, it is reported that the next season of the show will stream on the OTT platform unlike the first 6 seasons of the show, that aired on the TV channel, Star World. The announcement of the upcoming season was made at the global Disney fan event, the D23 Expo, along with two new titles, Showtime and Mahabharata, both to stream on Disney+ Hotstar.

Karan Johar in response to the upcoming season said that he is very excited to associate with the said OTT platform again and for the new collab as well and he would love to bring in yet another exciting season of his beloved show, Koffee With Karan.

Talking about the announcement, Gaurav Bannerjee, Head- Content, Disney+ Hotstar and HSM network said, “We couldn't have asked for a more profound curtain raiser on our upcoming lineup at a globally coveted platform such as D23 Expo 2022, where we have an opportunity to share the glimpse of soon to be launched shows Showtime, Mahabharata and Koffee with Karan Season 8.”
