Bigg Boss OTT Season 2 began with a bang on the 17th of June, streaming on Jio Cinemas. The platform has already put out the promo of the show, where Salman Khan is confirmed as the host this season.
The promos promise a wilder, stronger season with Salman Khan as the host, replacing Karan Johar. The first season of the show was successful and paved the way for a new season of Bigg Boss on TV. Many contestants who participated in the OTT season also got a direct entry into the main house.
This time around, contestants are being addressed with hashtags and there was a lot of intrigue around who was entering the show.
Falaq Naaz is a popular TV actress, who is participating in the show and has already been making waves.
Her hashtag for this season is Womaniya. TellyChakkar exclusively got in touch with the actress before her entering the house and she spoke about many things, including her favorite contestants, her expectations and more.
In the Bigg Boss house, things can become complicated, and sometimes lines are crossed, what would be your reaction to that, are you calm or short-tempered?
See, it depends on who is in front of me. I try very hard to maintain my dignity, even in a fight. I cannot fight dirty and I don’t like to. It depends on who the other person is and what that person is saying. People say that truth is bitter, but if that person is saying things beyond a point, I might get offended, or maybe get into a fight. But, I don’t think anything like that is going to happen. There will be fights in the house and certain things might be beyond my point of control or against me. But, I’ll try that I handle those situations with dignity. I don’t want to hurt someone unnecessarily, and even by mistake. I don’t want to do that. But, if someone tries to poke me and their intentions are wrong, I will react equally.
The show is also a testament to discovering new things about oneself, what are your hopes for the show?
People know me because of my roles and they follow me because of that. They love my characters. I want them to love me as Falaq Naazz. If they want to give me blessings, I want them to give them to me in real life and only if they feel that I deserve it. I want to make my place in their hearts as Falaq Naazz and not as Jhanvi or Bubbly. I want people to look at me, understand what kind of a person I am and what kind of thinking I have.
Salman Khan is hosting for the first time, how excited are you?
Trust me, I am very excited. I am unable to imagine how I'll meet him. I have met him before, but it was very rushed. So, my proper fan girl moment was left aside. I am very excited and really happy. It feels like a dream!
Falaq was the first contestant to enter the show and was immediately praised by Salman Khan and Pooja Bhatt.
