MUMBAI : Naved Shaikh, professionally known as Naezy, is an Indian rapper from Mumbai, who first broke into mainstream rap with the song "Mere Gully Mein" featuring fellow rapper DIVINE.
He became super successful and gained a lot of fan following and today is a huge name in the world of rapping.
Zoya Akthar's made a movie on his life titled 'Gully Boy' where Ranveer Singh played his role.
These days he is making headlines as he is a confirmed contestant of Bigg Boss OTT Season 3 and finally he has reached the finale of the show as the finalist.
His friendship with Sana Makbul is the most talked about topic inside and outside of the house.
TellyChakkar got in touch with the Naezy's cousins and asked him about the rapper being aggressive and on his relationship with Sana Makbul.
What do you have to say about Nazey's game in the Bigg Boss house?
We are very proud of him that he has reached the Bigg Boss house with his hard work and dedication. He is representing all of us and it is a pride moment and has kept their brother's photo as a wallpaper.
What do you have to say about Nazey's upbringing?
Nazey uncle and aunties are teachers and he is brought and born in that environment and the way he is and his nature is because of all this as he comes from a highly qualified family and he doesn't misbehaves. Even if there is a negative he knows how to deal it with a positive.
In Gully Boy they showed that Nazey had a girlfriend did he really and did you ask him about it?
We don't think that he had a girlfriend considering the place from where he has come and his upbringing as his family believes in arranged marriage and since Gully Boy is a fictional movie they have put mirch and masala to it but he didn't have a girlfriend and he respects all women.
Well, there is no doubt that Naezy is a strong player and he has reached the finale of the show.
