MUMBAI: This week, the show begun on an interesting note when Bigg Boss announced the nomination task, where all the contestants were nominated, leaving Abhishek Mallan and Pooja Bhatt.
We did see how Jiya and Manisha had a major fight over the nomination.
In the upcoming episode, the captaincy task will take place, where all the contestants will have to press the buzzer and eliminate a contestant from the captaincy task. Whoever would be left in the end would become the new captain of the house.
Jiya becomes the new captain of the house as Bigg Boss dismisses Abhishek from the role, since he broke the rule by sleeping the whole day.
After becoming the captain of the house, Jiya gets a special power to save someone from nomination. She saves herself and nominates Pooja Bhatt.

Well, now Jiya is safe from getting eliminated from the show and now, in the upcoming episode, she would be getting more powers.
We did see that during the “Weekend Ka Vaar” episode, how Salman Khan lashed out at Jad for his behaviour and warned him to be careful the next time. He also directly nominated him for eviction.
Salman also advised the contestants that they should come forward and give their opinions. They shouldn't be diplomatic or have double standards.
Akanksha Puri finally bid “goodbye” to the show as she was eliminated owing to fewer votes from the audience.
