MUMBAI :Movie Blind, which has Sonam Kapoor in the leading role has been the talk of the town because of various reasons. The movie, which is directed by Shome Makhija also marks the comeback and digital debut of the actress after a gap of 4 years.

The movie is produced by Sujoy Ghosh, Avishek Ghosh, Hyunwoo Thomas Kim, Sachin Nahar, Pinkesh Nahar and Manish W. The film features Sonam Kapoor in a lead role with Purab Kohli, Vinay Pathak and Lillete Dubey in supporting roles. Today, the movie Blind has finally released on digital platform Jio Cinemas.

The movie deals with the central character Giya Singh, played by Sonam Kapoor who has lost her eyesight after a massive accident. Now, she is an ex police officer who is trying to investigate The case of missing girls. Behind all these missing girls, the main agenda of the kidnapper is revealed in the movie.

The screenplay of the movie is a little slow and the direction is strictly average. The pace of the movie, especially in the first half is very slow and dull.

This movie marks the comeback of actress Sonam Kapoor. But unfortunately, her performance fails to create a mark. The performance is strictly average. On the other hand, the man who steals the entire show is Purab Kohli. He was brilliant on his part. Vinay Pathak is average on his part, and so was Lillete Dubey.

Talking about the positive points of the movie, it has to be the setup and the world created by filmmaker Shome Makhija, which definitely grabs your attention. Secondly, it has to be actress Sonam Kapoor. Inspite of giving an average performance, you would love to watch her on-screen. Also, one of the major high points of the movie has to be actor Purab Kohli, who has given one of his best performances of his career. Also, the BGM and the music given to the movie is beautiful, which will definitely enhance your movie-viewing experience.

Talking about the negative points, the screenplay is very slow and it surely makes you get bored. In spite of having a beautiful and interesting setup, the pace of the movie is slow. Also, the editing of the movie is poor. There are a few scenes which lack logic. In spite of being a thriller movie, the climax is poor. It could have had a better climax. This movie marks the comeback of actress Sonam Kapoor after a long gap, so there were high expectation from the actress. But unfortunately, she was strictly average in the movie.

Well, having said all that, movie Blind is a treat for thriller fans. It is a must watch for the exceptional performance coming from the side of the actor Purab Kohli.
