MUMBAI : Imtiaz Ali has made and offered some truly wonderful films that have transported us to different worlds over the years. His films, like Tamasha, Jab We Met, and Rockstar, haven't yet left us. Actually, Jab We Met was just re-released, and people flocked back to the theatres to relive the nostalgia.
This time, Diljit Dosanjh and Parineeti Chopra will be seen in a new film directed by him called Chamkila. The film explores the life and demise of well-known singer Amar Singh Chamkila, whose music enthralled Punjab.

Netflix announced the movie many months ago and we got to see Diljit Dosanjh playing the role of Amar Singh Chamkila. Music director of the movie is A R Rehman and with that detail, we are sure that this will be an amazing experience.
Earlier, Netflix had posted an announcement video and recently the makers released a song from the movie which was loved by the fans. Now, the makers have dropped a video wherein we get to watch how things go behind-the-scenes.

In the video, we can see all the hard work that goes into making the movie and the characters. We also get to hear Mohit Chauhan’s melodic voice along with Imtiaz Ali’s guidance to the team.
In the past, Diljit Dosanjh has dazzled us with performances in films such as Udta Punjab, Jatt & Juliet, Honsla Rakh, Good Newwz, and many more. The actor primarily produces songs and works in Punjabi films. The actor is renowned for his raw ideas and straightforward, humorous demeanor.
However, since this will be Parineeti Chopra's first film following her marriage, fans will have the opportunity to see her once more. In the past, the actress has delivered some incredible performances in films such as Kesari, Hasee Toh Phasee, Ishaqzaade, and many more.
Looking at the stories Imtiaz Ali has brought to life earlier, magic that Diljit Dosanjh has brought in the characters he has played earlier and the way A R Rehman has kept us mesmerized in all of previous music, we can surely expect a lot from this movie. The movie will be available to stream on Netflix from 12th April onwards.
