MUMBAI: Chhorii, a 2021 Hindi horror movie, gained a lot of appreciation when it was released directly on OTT platform. The movie starred Nushrratt Bharuccha, Mita Vashisht, Saurabh Goyal, Yaaneea Bharadwaj and Pallavi Ajay.
The movie received a lot of love for its story and the performances. To impress the audience once again, there came Chhori 2. Nushrratt Bharuccha’s performance in Chhori 2 was more than just impressive and there’s no wonder why the actress won the award for the Best Outstanding Performance at Wonder Woman 2025.
In an exclusive conversation with Tellychakkar, Nushrratt Bharuccha revealed something very intriguing about the movie and went back to the shooting days of Chhori 2. She also talked about the changes in the industry, being a fan of Ranbir Kapoor and much more.
Nushrratt Bharuccha opened up about the changes in the industry and said, “I think sab se bada badlaav toh yeh hai ke aaj humse yeh nahi kaha jaata ki ‘aap ke bas 5-7 saal hi hai industry mein, iske baad aapka ho gaya. Ab aap acting nahi kar sakte, ab aap filmo mein kirdaar nahi nibha sakte.’ I think mere pehle bhi bohot actresses ne woh badla hai, toda hai, aur hum lead roles mein bhi aate hai, humare baare mein bhi kahaaniya likhi jati hai, aur hume ek life mili hai jo bohot lambi hai in industry, toh bohot mazaa aayega.”
Talking about Chhorii 2, the horror movie was directed by Vishal Furia and starred Nushrratt Bharuccha, Soha Ali Khan, and Saurabh Goyal. While Chhorii was loved by the audience, the second installment also received the same love this time.
