Exclusive! Crimes and Confessions 2 actress Taniya Bannerjee on audience reaction for the show, “I have seen some people who are so much in love with me that they actually want to have a girlfriend like my character”

MUMBAI: Actress Taniya Chatterjee has been winning the hearts of the fans over time with her amazing acting contribution. Taniya Chatterjee is known for her appearances in projects like Gandi Baat season 4, web series Kasak and a few others. No doubt the actress always looks forward to doing something different with her projects.

Recently, we witnessed a mind-blowing performance of Taniya in the OTT series ‘Crimes and Confessions season 2’. While we got to see her in one episode, it is noteworthy that soon she will also be seen in another episode this season.

Tellychakkar got in touch with the actress where she talked about the audience response for the show, experience shooting for the series and much more.

What do you think about the audience reaction for the show?

The first episode of mine has been released where I’m the lead and playing the character of a wife. It’s not so bold but it’s cute and glamorous. The kind of characters I have done before were bold where in some I have done make-out scenes with my boyfriend or husband. Now I have done no make-up scenes and it’s glamorous. In fact I have an intense role where I’m trying to bring the husband on the right track, treating him right and taking good care of him. You can see me like a sexy yet responsible wife. The response has been good and very different. I have seen some people who are so much in love with me that they actually want to have a girlfriend like my character.

Her experience shooting for the show and memorable moments

The actress shared a moment when her co-actor asked her how to move forward with a bold scene as he did not know how to execute it but the actress told her that he doesn’t need to worry as she is an expert.

What was your initial reaction when you were approached for the show?

I am doing 2 episodes in the series, out of which the first one is released and the second one is yet to come. The one that’s not yet released, which is the second one, I would say that everyone is going to love it. It’s very sexy, very attractive and very ‘masaledaar’. However, along with that spiciness, it is also meaningful and has a strong story. I was offered a different character but I had a discussion with the production regarding this and so I got to play both the characters as they agreed that my point of view was right. I gave my best and I’m happy with the outcome.
