Shiv Pandit on the trailer of his show

The trailer gives you a very nice and refreshing feeling. Recently, there have been many thrillers and crime shows. The audience likes to see those kind of shows. But there is another set who loves to see family-oriented shows, and Sutliyan is one of those shows that will make you fall in love with your family. As an actor, I really feel happy that I am a part of the show where they are showing family bonds and relationships.

Shiv Pandit on bonding with his family

I think bonding with family is a great thing. No matter how close you are to a friend or someone else, at the end of the day, when a difficult situation arises, it is your family only you look up to. I remember that I was called to give a talk on the show, where the students asked me about how to become an actor. So, I told them that when I wanted to become an actor, it was my family who supported my dream. It is very important for them to understand you and your dreams. Half your battle is won if you get emotional or mental support from your family. It is only because of my family's support that I am where I am today.

Shiv Pandit on the aspects he likes and dislikes about his character

I play the elder son in the show. There is always the pressure of handling things on the elder son. The thing that I didn’t like about my character is the way he handles situations. Personally, I won’t be doing the same in life as my character. The way he thinks about solving the problems is way different from mine. And the thing that I like about him is the way he changes in the latter part of the show. The way he takes up his responsibility as an elder son is very interesting. I like the relationship he has with his sister and brother, because when you get angry with your siblings, that anger comes from a place of love. I like that part of my character very much.

Sutylian will be streaming on Zee5 from 4th March 2022.
