MUMBAI: The trailer of one of the most awaited movies of all time, Sardar Udham, is getting all the love from the fans ever since it was launched. The movie which has Vicky Kaushal in the leading role has been the talk of the town ever since it was announced and finally, the movie has made its way to reach the audience through the digital platform Amazon Prime Video.
No doubt, the actor Vicky Kaushal is known for his versatility, and we have seen some amazing characters played by the actor in different projects and winning the hearts of the fans. From the trailer of Sardar Udham, we can say that this can be one of the finest performances of the actor. But do you know the actor was injured very badly just before the start of the shoot?
Yes, you heard right, actor Vicky Kaushal had a very bad face injury just 4 days before the start of the shooting of Sardar Udham.
This was revealed by the actor Vicky Kaushal himself during the trailer launch event, the actor revealed that the injury did not happen during the shooting of Sardar Udham but it happened during the shoot of some other movie. The actor was injured and had 13 stitches, he called up his director Shoojit Sircar and told him about this injury. The director told him not to worry they can use this in the movie.

So in the movie, there are few portions where we see the scar on the face of the actor which is real and at the same time having the reference with the flow of the movie.

Talking about the movie Sardar Udham, it is a biographical film about Udham Singh, a revolutionary freedom fighter best known for assassinating Michael O'Dwyer in London to take revenge for the 1919 Jallianwala Bagh massacre in Amritsar. The film is directed by Shoojit Sircar and produced by Rising Sun Films in collaboration with Kino Works. The film will premiere on 16 October 2021 on Amazon Prime Video.
