MUMBAI: After giving some great performances in the movies like Makdee and Iqbal. It is all a treat to watch the actress perform some fabulous roles in the past. Shweta Basu Prasad is all gearing up to be seen in the upcoming short film Yatri Kripya Dhayan De. 

Team Tellychakkar.com got an exclusive chance to have a conversation with the actress where she spoke about her character in the short film. She also spoke about what made her say yes to the project and the genre which she would like to explore in the future.

Shweta Basu Prasad on her character and short film

I am playing Nandita’s character in the short film. Talking about the show, I live in the same city where I met Shaheer Sheikh’s character. It is a thriller genre and it revolves around the conversation between these two characters. The audience will be fully entertained with the twists and turns that this short film will bring out. At the end of the show, the audience will get a very big surprise.

Shweta Basu Prasad on what made her say yes to the project

I really like the script of the short film. I have said it my association with the cinema is like an audience first and then as an actor. So whatever scripts or projects come my way I view it as an audience first. If I like it then I act in it. So when this script came to me, I absolutely loved the script. It had all the potential to be the most viewed and engaging short film. And I also loved the character of Nandita. 

Shweta Basu Prasad on the genre she would love to explore

There was no said genre that I really want to explore as such. I have done comedy, romantic and Horror. I really want to be a part of a black and white project like a silent film something which has no dialogues at all. I think that will be really exciting.
