EXCLUSIVE! I was to get Rs 201, but because of Anil Kapoor, I received Rs 501 for my first movie: Satish Kaushik

Satish Kaushik and Anil Kapoor are all set to be seen in an upcoming Netflix movie titled Thar. This is what Satish Kaushik had to say on his close bond with Anil Kapoor.

MUMBAI : Netflix’s upcoming movie title Thar has been the talk of the town ever since the first look posters was out. The movie is set in Rajasthan and features talented actors like Anil Kapoor, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Satish Kaushik, Jitendra Joshi, and Harshvardhan Kapoor.

The trailer of the movie was launched today in the presence of the media and the cast of the movie.

We are going to see Anil Kapoor and Satish Kaushik sharing the screen again. On working with Anil Kapoor once again, Satish Kaushik said that he is very lucky and fortunate to have a friend like Anil Kapoor. He still remembers his first movie Woh Saat Din, which was with Anil Kapoor. He had only two to three lines, but since then, they became close friends. Satish Kaushik said with the movie, he got a close family friend in Anil Kapoor. It has been more than 40 years, and he is still working with him.

Satish Kaushik also added that he still remembers the time when Anil Kapoor gave him the shirt that Rishi Kapoor’s shirt wore in the movie Phool Khile Hain Gulshan Gulshan. The actor said that he was to get Rs. 201 for his debut movie, but he got Rs. 501 because of Anil Kapoor.

No doubt this is a brilliant example of true friendship.

On the other hand, Anil Kapoor said that it is the love and passion for Bollywood and cinema that brings them together for different projects.

Fatima Sana Shaikh will be seen playing a role of rural bride in the movie. She said that it is the vision of the director based on which she had played her character, and fans will see her in a completely different role in this movie.

Satish Kaushik also added that he has been watching some Western movies and that Thar is a very stylish rural movie.
