Exclusive! ‘It will be a huge mistake to touch the old classic song Monica O My Darling and no one can match Helen” Huma Qureshi

MUMBAI : Upcoming movie Monika O My Darling, which is all set to hit the digital platform Netflix, has an amazing star cast like Rajkumar Rao, Huma Qureshi, Radhika Apte, Akansha Ranjan Kapoor, and others. It has been the talk of the town ever since it was in the making. We have seen many BTS pictures which have increased the excitement level of the fans.

Finally, after a long wait, the trailer of the movie is out today. The trailer was launched during the press conference event held in Mumbai, and the Press Conference was attended by the cast of the movie.

Talking about this collaboration, actor Rajkumar Rao revealed that it is a Who done it thriller, and the audience must see the movie for its amazing story writing and different characters. It will be definitely loved by the fans and will take you on a thrilling ride.

Whereas, Radhika Apte said that she just loves thriller as a genre, and that is why fans have seen her in many of them. Also, she has never played such a character in her career and looks forward to doing many more variations and varieties in the thriller genre in the upcoming days.

As we know, the title of the movie (Monika O My Darling), is in reference to the old classic song, Monica oh my darling, which is performed by Helen. Huma Qureshi revealed that it would be a very big mistake if they even tried to imitate Helen from the movie and the song. No one can touch that song and the performance which is delivered by the legendary actress.

On the other hand, director Wasan Bala said that it is an adaptation of a Japanese Novel which has a fantastic cast. It is a who done it thriller, with a lot of twists and turns.

Indeed, the trailer has all the elements required for the perfect murder mystery. The movie is all set to hit the digital platform Netflix on 11th November.
