MUMBAI: SonyLIV’s upcoming web show Potluck has been the talk of the town ever since the trailer of the show was out. The show promises an amazing concept with great storytelling and a bunch of talented actors.
Team TellyChakkar got an exclusive chance to speak with two of the lead actors from the cast of Potluck, Jatin Sial and Cyrus Sahukar, where both threw some light on their characters and the show.
JATIN SIAL AND CYRUS SAHUKAR ON THEIR CHARACTERS IN THE WEB SERIES
Throwing some light on his character, Jatin revealed that his character is full of life. He will be seen playing father to Cyrus's character. The equation he tries to build with his wife and his son is amazingly shown in the show. On the other hand, Cyrus shares that he is like any other son in a family. Fans will surely relate to his character and will love it. The shooting process was also an amazing journey and the cast bonded very well throughout. The cast used to have potlucks offscreen too and they have created some amazing memories with the shooting process. Jatin also revealed that he tried to give a few dimensions to his character, which were not on paper, but fans will surely love it.
JATIN SIAL AND CYRUS SAHUKAR ON THEIR FAVOURITE SCENES
Jatin Sial and Cyrus Sahukar got candid and revealed their favourite scenes from the web series. Jatin revealed that it was a scene between him and Cyrus was shot on the first day of Cyrus on set. The details cannot be revealed but the outcome of the scene is beautiful and will define the bond between father and son. On the other hand, Cyrus revealed that his favourite scene is between Jatin and Kitu Gidwani having a conversation in a car, which describes the bond they both share.
JATIN SIAL AND CYRUS SAHUKAR ON THE TITLE POTLUCK
Both the actors reveal that as the title suggests, it is not only about sharing the meal but it also about sharing feelings. Keeping all the hidden equations and hatred aside, the series will try to bring a smile on our faces. The show is based on the concept of 'a family who eats together stays together'.
