These days, the actor is making headlines. He would be seen in a pivotal role in the upcoming web series “Feels Like Home.”

The coming-of-age drama, directed by Sahir Raza, has a talented cast of young actors featuring Vishnu Kaushal, Mihir Ahuja, and Anshuman Malhotra in addition to Prit.

The series is set to stream on Lionsgate Play on June 10.

TellyChakkar got in touch with the actor and asked him what made him say yes to the show and about his journey.

What do you have to say on the show and the character?

I am very excited and nervous as this is my first project with Lions Gate Entertainment. It's a classy platform. I have grown up watching Hollywood movies on the platform. Now, they are producing my movie. It feels so special. Moreover, my character is amazing. He is vibrant and colourful and difficult to play. My personality is very different from his.

The character Lakshya is very unreal and is a combination of Ranveer Singh and Govinda. The series is also very good. A project like this is a blessing.

What do you think are the high points and the USP of the web series?

The story is the USP of the series. It’s a story about friends. In the past we have seen movies based on friends like Dil Chahta Hai and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, but the story in these movies were very mature. On our series the story is more youth oriented, and I always wanted to be part of such a project.

I would also say that the USP is how the series has been shot as it's very entertaining. It is a situational comedy where the audience would laugh at the problems one is going through. It’s a very interesting plot.

How do you define your journey as an actor so far?

Luckily, my journey has been very interesting, and I am grateful for the opportunity that I have got. Recently, my role in the Bollywood movie Jersey was such a heartfelt character though it was a cameo. I loved it, and after watching the movie and my role, I am a changed person.

I just want my audience to love me in whatever character I do. Now, I would be seen in another movie with Anubhav Sinha that would release in August. Thankfully, after the pandemic, I have been getting a lot of good work and I am loving this phase of my life.
