What type of characters and directors do you wish to do and work with in future projects?
I would like to work with everybody. I am here to work and I am open to working with anyone. But when it comes to exploring the genres, I would love to ravel into comedy and romance. My friends keep telling me to explore some fun roles as I am the same in real life. I would like to play someone who is young, vibrant, and show a little bit of my reflection. But of course, there should be a lot of scope in that as well. I just don't want to play any random character.
Web shows often demand sensitive and bold content that actors portray in the most professional way. Have you faced trolling for the same? Has that affected your choice of work?
No, not really! The script was so intriguing. I had gone to a supermarket and some fisherman over there recognized me even though I was wearing a mask. This shows that a lot of people have watched the series. Somebody who accepts my character Bhumika in She, I was on cloud nine. Even Sajid Nadiadwala sir praised my performance. Everyone has enjoyed this series and the character because there is truth in that.
What are your views on OTT platforms gaining a lot of prominence in today's time?
Films are doing very well but somewhere OTT is gaining a lot of prominences. The shift has gone to OTT more in these times. People are more excited about the release of web series than movies. Honestly, performances also matter a lot. It is a very exciting time for actors. Everyone can now stream on web shows through phones which is also quite convenient. In a way, it is sad also, as I would love to watch films in theaters. But now the efforts of people are reducing to go to theaters and watch films. People now prefer watching web shows at home with friends and family.
Aaditi is also known for delivering stellar performances in projects like She and Lai Bhaari among others.
