MUMBAI: Karmmaan Raajaaniwill next br seen in the web series Mombian – Gul & Sakshi Ki Pyaaari Si Love Story. In this exclusive interview with Tellychakkar.com, talks about his character, what made him say yes to the project, and the characters he is looking forward to playing on the screen.
Tell us about the web series and your character in it?
Basically, the story is about two girls who fall in love with each other and want to have a baby. The story revolves around them and how they fight all the odds of society to be together. I am playing the character of a doctor in this series, who helps them have a baby through IVF.
What made you say yes to the project?
The casting director called me to shoot for this web series. She is my good friend. So when I went to shoot for the series, I did not know anything about the project or my character. So when I reached on the sets, they gave me the script and asked me to do a few scenes. I shot almost all my scenes in one day. I still did not know what it was for. When I was reading the script, I like the concept of the web series. And I believe that such stories should to told to the audiences.
As an actor, what kind of characters are looking forward to?
As an actor, I like to play all kinds of roles. I have already played a doctor, an inspector, and a funny person in my films. In my journey of ten years, I have already played so many characters on screen. I like to play comedy roles as well as serious roles. But what I enjoy the most is the negative or gray character. There is so much an actor can show in a negative role through his expressions or only by their eyes. So if I get the chance, I would love to play a negative character.
