Exclusive! "There was a time when people were not recognising me" Romiit Raaj on his acting journey

Actor Romiit Raaj who is known for Shaka Laka Boom Boom and web series Casino exclusively spoke to Telly Chakkar with regards to his acting journey where he also spoke about the types of characters he looks forward to do

MUMBAI: Actor Romiit Raaj has been impressing the fans over the time with his amazing acting contribution. We have seen some amazing shades of the actor a cross-platform and winning the heart of the fans. Shaka Laka Boom Boom, Ssshhhh...Phir Koi Hai, Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi...Let's Go, Kulfi Kumar Bajewala are some of the projects coming from the side of the actor.

Team Telly Chakkar got an exclusive chance to speak with the actor Romiit Raaj with regard to his acting journey, where he also spoke about dealing with downfalls and rejections and also the types of characters he looks forward to play on digital platform

The actor went candid with us and revealed that his father used to watch Bollywood classics of Amitabh Bachchan, Dilip Kumar and many others since childhood he has been watching movies and his interest was towards Bollywood movies and he always was excited to know more about the making process and the shooting. The actor always was reading autobiography of actors and directors and always took learning from these books. Romiit Raaj always wanted to become an actor and when he was pursuing his studies in Calcutta he got his very first acting chance in a Bengali television serial. Later the actor came to Mumbai in 2001 and after his television show Shakalaka Boom Boom there was no looking back for him.

This television show gave a new recognition to the actor and everyone started to know him, after this television serial the actor went on to do few movies, he also revealed after this show as went on a break from Tv industry to do movies no one was recognising him, and the actor decided to stick to television industry and he was seen doing many successful projects on television.

Romiit Raaj as mentioned always wanted to become an actor since childhood, his love and passion was nothing but acting. The actor always wanted to be in front of camera portraying different characters. This actually gives him joy and inspiration every time. The actor always want to do different characters across different platforms for his followers.

Romit Raj on types of characters he looks forward to do

With the rise and consumption of content we can see some amazing filmmakers and actors coming on digital platform and giving some great content to the fans. The actor who is open to do any type of character eagerly wants to play a spy in a thriller series, he is looking forward to play an investigative officer in a project. The actor is also looking forward to play some negative and grey shades on digital platform.

Romit Raj shares that whenever he select any project or character there are few things which he looks into, the actor mainly look at the script and the story of the show, which should be strong enough to impress him, secondly the actor sees his character in the show and its contribution. The actor also sees who is making the project and how is the equation with him.

Well no doubt it is always a treat to watch actor Romiit Raaj in different projects.
