MUMBAI: An upcoming web series titled Guilty Minds on Amazon Prime Video has been talk of the town ever since the first look was dropped. Fans were waiting for the teaser and trailer of the web series to know more in detail about it. Today, finally the trailer of the web series was launched at the press conference held in Mumbai in the presence of the cast of the web series, a few law students, and director Shefali Bhushan.
Talking about the web series, Shefali Bhushan says that she comes from a family where everyone is a lawyer. Her father, grandfather, brother, and sister-in-law are lawyers. So she has closely seen the world of law and lawyers. Shefali said in law, nothing can be right or wrong; everything has two sides. Talking about the research, Shefali revealed that the team has focused on the arguments and the writing. The arguments are strong for both sides, and this was the attempt throughout the web series. The show is dealing with 10 different issues in 10 different episodes.
Talking about his character and preparation, Varun Mitra says his research began from starting to umderstand Shefali Bhushan’s thought process. There were long discussions about lawyers. The actor also went to trial courts to see the atmosphere and learn more. He will be playing a lawyer whose name is Deepak. He is very energetic and animated but honest.

Shriya Pilgaonkar say that the team had begun the shooting of the web series much before the pandemic, and they have fought 2 lockdowns and many restrictions. It is faith and patience because of which the show is finally out. Shriya Pilgaonkar adds that when she went for the audition of her character, she felt a sense of connection with the role. She also had visited courts and seen the atmosphere.
No doubt the trailer of the show has had the right chord, and we look forward to see some great performances in the web series Guilty Minds.
Co-directed by Jayant Digambar Somalkar and produced by Karan Grover, Antara Banerjee and Naved Farooqui, Guilty Minds will start streaming from April 22 on Amazon Prime Video.
