Exclusive! Will Adhura season 2 happen? Here’s what directors Gauravv K Chawla and Ananya Banerjee has to say

MUMBAI: The supernatural series Adhura started streaming on Amazon Prime Video a few days ago. The series stars Rasika Duggal and Ishwak Singh in the lead roles and it is directed by Gauravv K Chawla and Ananya Banerjee.

The series is getting a decent response, and when TellyChakkar recently interacted with Gauravv K Chawla and Ananya Banerjee, we spoke to them about the season 2 of the show.

When asked if there will be a season 2 of Adhura, Gauravv said, “We would love to do it. But, it depends on various things; how far it is chased and what it does. So, Prime Video will decide. But, we love Adhura and it is very close to us.”

Ananya added, “The way it’s developed, we have created a world and a world has many possibilities. We are very excited which is why we made the first season and the excitement continues. So, we will be happy to take it forward, but it depends on a lot of things.”

Apart from Rasika Duggal and Ishwak Singh, Adhura also stars Rahul Dev, Zoa Morani, Shrenik Arora, and Poojan Chhabra. It’s a horror series and we hardly get to see supernatural shows on OTT, so it was something new and unique for Indian audiences.
