First poster of Netflix's Guilty out; trailer to be launched on THIS date

MUMBAI: Kiara Advani, who is on a professional high with the release of her romantic drama Kabir Singh (2019) with Shahid Kapoor, returns to Netflix for her upcoming film, Guilty.

Check out the look below.

The drama, produced by Karan Johar's Dharmatic, is being directed by Ruchi Narain.

The actress' look in the film is a far cry from the sweet and docile Preeti from Kabir Singh. Her hair is now coloured and in curls. She wears black combat boots and a lot of plaid, rather simple pastel Indian wear.

Kiara had her breakthrough in Karan Johar's segment in the Netflix anthology film, Lust Stories (2018). She returns to the platform for the new Narain film which will be released later this year.

In the drama, a small-town girl accuses a popular college athlete of rape. The film will examine different versions of the 'truth' and will be seen through the eyes of the young boy's musician girlfriend.

It is likely that Kiara will play the part of the musician's girlfriend. Her look certainly fits the bill.

Besides Guilty, the actress has an amazing line-up: Shershaah with Siddharth Malhotra, Laxxmi Bomb with Akshay Kumar , Bhool Bhulaiya 2 with Kartik Aaryan, and Indoo ki Jawani.
