Four girls taking off for one hell of a trip! Sounds pretty interesting doesn’t it? Well, The Trip delivers on that and also reminds you about your trips with your girl gang. The web series, starring Shweta Tripathi, Sapna Pabbi, Malika Dua and Lisa Haydon, follows four girls on their crazy bachelorette trip in Thailand. Like you would have guessed, the trip comes bundled with a lot of madness and fun.
3. Girls Hostel
Director: Chaitanya Kumbhakonum
From fun hostel nights to college rivalry, the series gives its viewers a glimpse of happenings that youngsters can relate to. The narrative explores the everyday lives of these dental college students, as they deal with their issues; right from domineering parents to peculiar wardens to the unkind girls they encounter. Starring Srishti Shrivastava, Parul Gulati, Ahsaas Channa, and Simran Natekar, this one is a must watch.
4. Girl In The City
Directed by: Samar Shaikh
Girl In The City, starring digital sensation Mithila Palkar, is a coming-of-age story of Meera Sehgal from Dehradhun, who comes to Mumbai to pursue her dreams in the fashion industry. Small-town dreams clash with big city woes…this narrative if for those who dare and dream.
5. The Test Case
Directed by: Nagesh Kukunoor and Vinayak Waikul
The Test Case tells the story of Captain Shikha Sharma (Nimrat Kaur), the first woman to get enrolled in the Indian Army's Special Forces unit. It spotlights he physical and mental struggle to make her presence felt in an all-male group of soldiers. The gritty tale also stars Akshay Oberoi, Atul Kulkarni, Rahul Dev and Anup Soni in the lead roles along with Juhi Chawla in a guest appearance.
