MUMBAI: Sony LIV proudly presents Shark Tank India 4: Gateway to Shark Tank – Divyang Special, an inspiring initiative dedicated to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship among individuals with disabilities and those working towards their empowerment. Leading this initiative is Jeet Adani, Director of Adani Airports, who will mentor, and support entrepreneurs focused on disability-inclusive innovation. His commitment to accessibility and progress extends beyond guidance, as he also monetarily supported them, helping them scale their transformative ideas.
In a heartwarming segment of this special episode, Shweta Runwal, founder of Tickle Your Art, took the stage alongside her daughters, Ira and Dhriti, to present their innovative design brand. Inspired by Dhriti, who was born with Down Syndrome, Tickle Your Art celebrates the unique talents of individuals with intellectual disabilities.
An architect by profession, Shweta, was driven to create a platform that promotes inclusion and empowerment. Tickle Your Art has already made an impact by selling collaborating with special artists across. The brand’s motto is reflected in its logo, which features blue and yellow colors symbolizing Down Syndrome awareness. The Sharks found Dhriti and Ira adorable as they passionately shared their journey. Ira confidently introduced some of their products, including The Kind Eye—a unique jewelry piece that represents a positive take on the traditional evil eye concept. This idea particularly impressed Shark Anupam Mittal.
As Shweta and her daughters shared their journey, the room buzzed with excitement. "I realized that Dhriti expresses herself beautifully through art, and I wanted to create a platform that showcases her talents along with other special artists. Being on Shark Tank India has been an incredible experience. We’re thrilled to share our vision with the Sharks and grateful for Aman Gupta and Anupam Mittal investing in our passion for inclusion and empowerment."
Their ask was ₹21.3 lakhs for 7% equity, and to their delight, they secured a deal from Sharks Aman Gupta and Anupam Mittal. With inspiring entrepreneurs like Shweta and dedicated mentors like Jeet Adani, Shark Tank India 4: Gateway to Shark Tank – Divyang Special stands as a testament to the power of inclusion, innovation, and the limitless potential of ideas that drive meaningful change.
