MUMBAI: In a world dominated by modern dumbbells and gym machines, MudgarClub is bringing an ancient Indian workout tool back into the spotlight. Founded by the dynamic brother duo Anjit Suhag and Sanjeet Suhag, this Rohtak-based startup is reviving the Mudgar—a traditional, versatile fitness tool designed to engage the body in multidimensional movements. By promoting grip strength, joint mobility, and holistic wellness, MudgarClub aims to reshape India's fitness culture while proudly embracing its heritage.
The Sharks were captivated by MudgarClub's pitch, so much so that they couldn’t resist testing the Mudgar themselves, feeling the burn and power of this ancient fitness tool. While the technique is important to master, only one shark rose to the challenge and managed to get it right. With a bold ask of ₹50 lakhs for 10% equity, will the Sharks invest in MudgarClub’s mission to ignite a cultural fitness revolution?
With a vision to see a Mudgar in every household, the Suhag brothers aim to empower people of all ages and backgrounds to embrace fitness that's accessible, enjoyable, and deeply rooted in Indian tradition. The brothers said, "We believe fitness should be accessible and enjoyable for everyone, regardless of age, gender, or background. Our vision is to create a cultural revolution across rural and urban India, where every household has a Mudgar and people are empowered to take control of their health and well-being. Being on Shark Tank India 4 was an exhilarating experience. Pitching our vision to some of the brightest minds in the industry validated our journey. The Sharks challenged us with insightful questions, that helped us refine our business strategy and fueled our belief in the Mudgar's potential to transform fitness across India."
