In a candid conversation, Abigail, who plays a journalist in the film, opened up about her childhood dream of pursuing journalism. She shared, "Growing up, I always wanted to do journalism. Coming up with new stories every day and constantly thinking about what to do next was fascinating to me. The way journalists craft stories is really commendable. And the kind of politics that goes on behind the scenes, along with the pressure from the bosses, is something I really admired and got to know from this movie."
Divorce Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega follows the story of Nikki Kothari (played by Abigail Pande) and Ashutosh Chavda (played by Rishab Chadha), two rival journalists working at India Buzz TV. Nikki, the head of the Features and Entertainment section, and Ashutosh, a reporter, are tasked by their boss to investigate a marriage court scandal. Despite their reluctance, they are forced to enter into a legally binding marriage as part of their investigation. What follows is a hilarious series of events as they navigate their unexpected marital status while uncovering the truth behind the scandal.
