MUMBAI: TVF has given us some of the most trending shows like Kota Factory, Aspirants, Panchayat, Permanent Roommates and so many more. One of the most trending shows from TVF is Gullak which is available to stream on SonyLIV.

Gullak has had a successful run of season 3 and now the makers are coming back with season 4, which means once again we will get to meet the Mishra family and get to watch a new set of problems in their day-to-day life.

The cast of the series features Jameel Khan, Geetanjali Kulkarni, Vaibhav Raj Gupta, and Harsh Mayar. A new entry this season is of Helly Shah who has a pretty great fan following for her performances in projects like Swaragini, Laal Ishq, Ishq Mein Marjawan 2, and many more. The show will be available to stream on SonyLIV from 7th June.

In an exclusive interview with Tellychakkar, Jameel Khan opened up about what’s new in the upcoming season and offers for movies.

What’s new this season?

To this, Jameel Khan replied, “Zindagi ke padhav, middle class wale ki zindagi mein jo mazaiya cheeze hoti hai, jo unki zindagi mein rehne sehne ka dhang hota hai, jo unki soch, unki baat-cheet uska jo aks milega aapko who season 4 me bhi jaisa ki season 3 mein dikhaya hai aur bacche thode bade ho rahe hai aur maa baap bhi thoda aur experienced ho rahe hai. So baccho ke andar jo tabdiliyan aa rahi hai usko kaise face karna hai maa baap ko aur baccho ke andar, khud ke andar jo tabdiliyan aa rahi hai unko kaise handle karte hai bacche aur yehi sab hai usme aur kya. Flavour uska wohi hai, winter ka feel hai iss baar. Pehle hamesha summer ka raha hai. Iss baar Winter hai, sweaters me dikhenge log. Uska look ek alag aata hai. Director mein hai iss baar Shreyansh Panday aur writer Vidit hai toh unka apna ek alag flavor hoga. Lekin Gullak ki jo duniya hai woh waisi hai jaise pehle aapko dikhi hai aur utna hi mazaa ayega utna hi aapko hasaayegi, mujhe lagta hai shayad aur zyada mazaa de iss baar. Main umeed karta hoon.”

Are you still thinking of doing movies? Are you being approached for movies?

To this, Jameel Khan said, “Meri shuruat theatres se hui thi jab main lead roles karta tha aur theatre hi meri pehchaan hai. Sabse mazboot pehchaan meri theatre hai haalaki jo log theatre dekhte hai woh mujhe jante hai kuch ache tareeke se unfortunately theatre ki who reach nahi hai lekin jaha tak choosy hone ki baat hai toh main apni puri zindagi choosy raha hoon. Jab mere paas kaam nahi tha tab bhi main choosy tha aaj mere paas kaam ke offers bohot zyada hai tab bhi main choosy hu aur aap utne mein se hi choose karte hai jo aapke paas aa raha hai. Kabhi kabhi aapki choice sahi hoti hai kabhi galat hoti hai jo sab ke saath hota hai lekin main choosy aaj nahi day 1 se raha hoon….mujhe jo acha lagta hai who main karta hoon.”
