Halahal: Thrilling murder mystery on Eros Now

MUMBAI: Eros Now has teased a new original film titled, Halahal, starring Barun Sobti and Sachin Khedekar.

The footage teases a seemingly simple case of suicide of a 23-year-old Archana in Ghaziabad. It raises questions around it, pointing to a more sinister fate.

Reportedly, the film is based on the Vyapam scam which was exposed in Madhya Pradesh in 2013. It was apparently connected to unlawful admission of candidates in professional courses and state government jobs in alleged conspiracy of mafia, officials and politicians. However, according to the makers, the plot is entirely fictitious.

According to further reports, Sobti will play a cop in Halahal. It has been directed by Randeep Jha and written by Syed Zeishan Quadri.
