Manisha has a huge fan following for her warm and true self she portrays to all. Her journey however has not been an easy one as she had to face many obstacles and hardships from a very young age. When Manisha was in the 5th grade, her parents got divorced, and her father got custody of all the four children. Manisha had a dream of always becoming a dancer however her father didn’t support her initially.
Thus at the age of 16 she ran away from home. Without a train ticket she reached Kolkata. She stayed at a friend’s place and began working as a waitress at weddings and parties to earn some money. Her luck changed when she was offered the job of a background dancer by an event team that took her to various cities and villages in Bihar. Manisha had no idea what she was getting into. When she asked for the promised payment they asked her to perform for another 2 days. When she refused, they locked her into a room.
Determined to get out, Manish screamed, cried and kicked the door. They eventually let her go but did not give her the promised money. Manisha then made up her mind that she would be the maker of her own destiny and started making videos on Tiktok. After the latter got banned she used Instagram reels and her fan following began to multiple from there.
Manisha’s efforts and hard work finally paid off when she was offered Bigg Boss OTT2. There has been no looking back for her since then. She was loved on the show and her flirting with Jad Hadid and chemistry with Elvish was loved immensely.
