MUMBAI:  Ever since the trailer of the web series ‘Happy Family Conditions Apply’ was out, the fans were eagerly looking forward to the web series, as they are going to see some amazing bunch of talented people in one web series. The series, which is directed by Jamnadas Majethia and Aatish Kapadia, has finally premiered on Amazon Prime video and here is the complete review of the web series.

The series is based on a perfect Gujarati family, where live a grandfather and grandmother, played by Raj Babbar and Pathak Shah, who have their certain rules and regulations especially in terms of marriages and what sort of situations and little bit of family challenges they have to go through. How the entire Family comes out with every solution with a smiling face is shown in this web series. The series is a complete roller coaster ride of emotions which will definitely make you laugh and has some strong emotional values.

The screenplay of the web series is very strong, every scene is written powerfully and every character in the web series has something or the other to offer especially the character given to Ratna Pathak Shah is the high point and the USP of the web series. The emotional scenes are shot beautifully, which are also the USP of the web series.

Talking about the performances of the web series, there is no doubt it is an out and out Ratna Pathak Shah show. The actress has delivered one of the finest performances in the web series. You are going to see a different version of the actress and you will definitely fall in love with this character. On the other hand, Raj Babbar was decent on his part but unfortunately he had less to offer in the web series. Atul Kulkarni was a surprise package when it comes to comedy. The actor was good in his comic timing. Other actors like Paresh Ganatra, Atul Kumar, Ayesha Jhulka, and Raunaq Kamdar were decent on their part.

Talking about the positive point of the web series it has to be the comedy lines and the punch dialogues which are rib tickling and which definitely make you laugh, especially the dialogue delivery coming from the side of actress Ratna Pathak Shah are brilliant. Also as mentioned earlier, the veteran actress Ratna Pathak Shah is one of the major USPs of the web series. The storyline is completely different. You will get to see some fresh storyline in the web series and the relativity factor of the Indian family is high here. The web series is high on emotion and it will definitely leave you with teary eyes. The importance of family is beautifully shown in the web series in spite of having a lot of problems in the family.

Talking about the negative points, the web series looks a little dragged out. The show could have been trimmed with two or three episodes, also if you are promising that your web series is for a complete family audience you cannot be using foul language. There is a scene which has the use of foul language which is not at all appropriate for the family audience.
Well having said all these points, no doubt the web series Happy Family Conditions Apply is a complete treat to watch for a family entertainer, if you are in mood to have a roller coaster ride of laughter and some emotions.
