When asked – Leaving the industry, at the time, after a topsy-turvy start, there was No Entry, Heyy Babyy, All The Best, so you were at quite a high. The courage and the confidence to leave the industry at that time and then again the courage to come back after so many years, what’s that?

To this, Fardeen Khan said, “When I decided in 2010, I needed some time to myself for personal reasons and I had intentionally taken a few years off but it wasn’t meant to be as long as it turned out to be. So it turned out to be 12 years so I definitely on some levels wish I hadn’t taken such a long break because the landscape has changed so much, the audience has changed so much, people have changed so much but again it has allowed me to come back with the excitement of a newcomer it’s obviously daunting on many levels you know in this business to come back after a long time is not easy and… I’m extremely grateful for this chance to the people who’ve trusted me with their work whether it’s Mr. Bhansali with Heeramandi or Sanjay Gupta with Visfot, or Mudassar Aziz with another film I’ve just done Khel Khel Mein, and more than that I’d like to give a shoutout to my audiences who’ve somewhere you know my work has touched their lives in some ways they still remember me warmly. I still receive a lot of love from them and I’m just so grateful. I hope this is the beginning for bigger and better things to come, can’t get much bigger than this though…”
