Heeramandi actor Jason Shah opens up on his limitations for intimate scenes, says, ‘…I understood that Bhansali aise filmmaker hai…’ - Exclusive

Jason Shah made his presence in the Indian Telly Streaming Awards 2024 where he got into an exclusive conversation with Tellychakkar. When asked if he thinks that finally the industry is paying him back in terms of his hardwork, the actor gave a positive reply.

MUMBAI: Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar is indeed the biggest show out of India. While the first look that was revealed left the nation astounded with the grandness the filmmaker is about to bring to the OTT arena, the first song 'Sakal Ban' further gave a more comprehensive glimpse of the world of Heeramandi.

The series is now available to stream on Netflix and it stars Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha, Sharmin Segal, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Fardeen Khan, Shekhar Suman, Adhyayan Suman, Farida Jalal, Taha Shah Badussha, Jason Shah, Indresh Malik, Shruti Sharma, Vaishnavi Ganatra and Nassir Khan.

Jason Shah has been grabbing attention for Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar. The actor was seen as the villain, British officer Alastair Cartwright, in the series.

Jason Shah made his presence in the Indian Telly Streaming Awards 2024 where he got into an exclusive conversation with Tellychakkar. When asked if he thinks that finally the industry is paying him back in terms of his hardwork, the actor gave a positive reply.

Jason Shah said, “Yes, I think hard work pays so you keep on working and eventually it’ll shine.”

When asked about his upcoming ventures, Jason Shah said, “I just finished a film called ‘Jigra’ that was for Dharma and I have got a couple more films in the works so we’re looking to sign soon so I’m very excited.”

Jason was also asked if he has any limitations for doing intimate scenes or does he follow the director strictly and the actor replied saying, “I think har ek cheez mein ek limit hona chahiye but I did what I did in Heeramandi because obviously I understood that Bhansali aise filmmaker hai jo ek dum aesthetically shoot karein and yeah I think I do have a few limits that I wouldn’t cross but with a director like Sanjay it was bound to look good.”
