MUMBAI: Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar is indeed the biggest show out of India. While the first look that was revealed left the nation astounded with the grandness the filmmaker is about to bring to the OTT arena, the first song 'Sakal Ban' further gave a more comprehensive glimpse of the world of Heeramandi.

The director is one of the most loved and respected directors of the Indian film industry and the audience was quite pumped up after getting to know that he is going to make his OTT debut and that too with a series. From the announcement to the trailer, everything had a touch of royalty and that’s just the start of the magic.

The series is now available to stream on Netflix and it stars Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha, Sharmin Segal, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Fardeen Khan, Shekhar Suman, Adhyayan Suman, Farida Jalal, Taha Shah Badussha, Jason Shah, Indresh Malik, Shruti Sharma, Vaishnavi Ganatra and Nassir Khan.

Surely it is a great star cast and we got to see some comebacks of Fardeen Khan, Shekhar Suman and some others. The story of the series is about how the scheming Mallikajaan rules over an elite house of courtesans, and a new rival threatens her reign as rebellion brews in British-ruled India. After the title revelation, the makers released a few songs and they were all received well.
